Insider Financial covers the stocks we are watching this week.

Stocks covered in this video include CASI, JMIA, SOUN, CORZ, OPTT, ASTS, CHPT, MVIS, STEM, LCID, CVNA, ROOT, CTRN, SBUX, WYNN, DIS, NKE, CRK, SPY, QQQ, DIA, IWM, DJT, SCNI.

Video Summary

CASI has been a nice winner for the channel. Last month, the company received a preliminary proposal from CEO Wei-Wu-He to acquire its entire business operations in China.

8% float short. Stock looks to be running out of gas here.

JMIA covered in our last video at $10. Up 30% since then. Benchmark gave the stock a $13 PT. We just hit it. I’d be booking profits here.

Have to be cautious in this market. Remember, a win is a win. Don’t get greedy.

SOUN strong bounce off trendline support. 25% float short.

CORZ highlighted last month. Got a buyout offer from CoreWeave. 22% float short. Double top. Needs to break out or go back down.

OPTT running on the back of government contracts. 11% float short. Needs to hold $.35

ASTS been a big runner for us this quarter. Stock has been running ever since it announced a $100m deal with Verizon. 21% float short. Satellite to phones big business. Been putting a hurtin on the shorts.

Some old plays worth taking a look at again all have big shorts in the stock.

CHPT 29% float short

MVIS 25% float short

STEM 23% float short

LCID 29% float short

Why am I highlighting these? Well we know what can happen when the story changes and the shorts are trapped. Our biggest winner last year was CVNA. This year, it’s ROOT. Carvana we started covering at $4. This year, ROOT is up 562%!

Moving on, insider buying in CTRN. 17% float short. Stock down 34% this year.

Some big cap names that I like longer term:

SBUX

NKE

DIS
WYNN

CRK nat gas play with Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones as principal shareholder.

In terms of overall market:

Fed rate cut coming Sept

Employment rate has been rising. Inflation coming down.

Big jump in IWM. Stan Druckenmiller pivoted a few months ago into IWM. H’s the GOAT. 30% annual returns. Never a down year.

After last month’s debate and this weekend’s assassination attempt, safe to start pricing in a Trump Presidency. It’s his race to lose. Betting markets all say that. Musk, Ackman. Business community collascing around him. DJT looks pricmed

Lastly, a low floater SCNI. $2m market cap. Half a million float. Smart players on Stocktwits like stocksrockman are in this one, so put it on your radar.

I will also be scanning the pre-market, as I do each trading day. If I see anything else, I will let subscribers know. That’s why signing up is so important, and it’s completely free.

Bottom Line

As we keep saying, there are always opportunities in the markets, and it’s our job to find winning stocks to trade. Huge gains can be made in such a short amount of time.

It’s essential to look for stocks that have yet to run. There are plenty of opportunities, and we look at hundreds of stocks weekly for our subscribers.

Remember, all it takes is one or two to become a winner, and you’ve crushed the market indices (and Jim Cramer) for the year.

Good luck to all (except the shorts and Cramer)!
