Shares of US Nuclear Corp (OTCMKTS: UCLE) have taken off in what could turn out to be a break out year after imploding in 2018. The stock has started recouping losses accrued last year after shedding more than 80% in market value.

Shares of U.S Nuclear Corp are flying high in response to a multi-million deal that the company has signed to supply its DroneRAD systems to the Saudi Arabia Civil Defense. The order has bolstered the company’s backlog to highs of $2 million affirming the growing credibility of the radioactive detection system.DroneRAD is the company’s flagship aerial radiation and chemical detection system. The system utilizes NEO and Zoe drones designed for radiation and chemical detection. Saud Arabia is slowly becoming U.S Nuclear Corp biggest customer having ordered the system for use for national security purposes.

“US Nuclear is happy to announce these unique DroneRAD systems can also be outfitted with chemical detectors and bacterial/viral collection filters. A proprietary quick-release gimbal connector on the DroneRAD allows the operator to quickly change between sensor packages in emergency scenarios, and a special air sampling system,” U.S Nuclear Corp in a statement.

Radon Gas Opportunity

In addition to DroneRAD system, U.S Nuclear Corp has also made a name for itself in solving a long-running problem involving Radon, a hazardous natural occurring radioactive gas. The fact that the gas cannot be smelled, tasted or seen has made it impossible for people to combat it even though it is a leading cause of lung cancer.U.S Nuclear Corp has moved to solve the radon problem with the unveiling of RandFan a radon detection and mitigation system. The system can detect the radioactive gas below the EPA’s action levels in minutes.The fact that RandFan is compatible with all HVAC systems and can be wall mounted makes it ideal for use in office servings as well as apartments hotels and schools. The new system expands the company into a market worth $16 billion.The company is currently eyeing deals with big multinationals such as Johnson controls, Carrier or Trane as it seeks to generate significant value from its latest innovation. The company remains optimistic about generating substantial revenues and value from the system going forward.

“Our initial focus is on large buildings with large HVAC systems where our detector and command module can easily be put into service to fix the problem immediately and cost-effectively. We are in early discussions with Johnson Controls and other HVAC industry leaders,” said CEO, Bob Goldstein.
