Insider Financial recaps last week's stock market action and covers the stocks to watch this week.

Stocks covered in this video include SPY, QQQ, DIA, IWM, TLT, CAPR, DJT, LUNR, NIO, RKLB, ASTS, GEVO, BMEA, RELI.

Video Summary

CAPR was covered last week. The company is seeking FDA approval for its lead asset. 27% of the float is short. The stock closed the gap on Friday and came back. I like it above $10.

DJT significant reversal last week. Trump’s poll numbers are looking better. Race is not over yet. 19% float short

LUNR 23% float short. Heavy call buying. $10 strikes. Let’s see if they can get it there this week. Big NASA contract news

NIO is on fire with China stimulus news. 8% float short. Lots of room to run.

RKLB broke out last week. $11 price target from KeyBanc. 18% float short

ASTS had a significant reversal on Friday. 28% float short. Been one of the most prominent runners we’ve covered on the channel this year.

GEVO 10% float short. Nice chart. Flagging here and watching for a breakout.

BMEA $54 analyst price target last week. 27% float short.

RELI low float - just 1.15m shares in the float. Primed for a pump. Get in for the pump; don’t stay for the dump.

This week, the September trade will finish, and the September U.S. jobs report is due. The Fed pointed to the slowing labor market as a factor in its decision to jumpstart rate cuts. Also, a major labor strike at East Coast ports could start October 1 unless the International Longshoremen's Association approves a new contract.

Lastly, my short squeeze list has been my best screen. Catalyst plus a short position over 10% of the float is a perfect recipe for a move. I will be updating subscribers this week, so make sure you sign up. Again, it’s completely free.

Also, as I do each trading day, I will scan the pre-market. If I see anything else, I will let subscribers know. That’s why signing up is so important, and it’s completely free.

Bottom Line

As we keep saying, there are always opportunities in the markets, and it’s our job to find winning stocks to trade. Huge gains can be made in such a short amount of time.

It’s essential to look for stocks that have yet to run. There are plenty of opportunities, and we look at hundreds of stocks weekly for our subscribers.

Remember, all it takes is one or two to become a winner, and you’ve crushed the market indices (and Jim Cramer) for the year.

Good luck to all (except the shorts and Cramer)!
